To extend the beauty and liveliness of your Alpine Luminary container, keep out of direct sunlight

All of the Candle Luminary and the Bud Vases may be gently washed, but do not let the outside paper soak. Pat all excess water away with a dry towel. The outer paper may appear milky when wet, but will return to clear when dry.

Do not use any soaps or chemicals as this may interfere with the PH balance of the adhesive/ paper process.

For Electric night lights, Make sure the lamp is unplugged. Gently wash outside with a soft damp towel. Please note this is an electrical lamp – treat with the same respect as any other lamp. Unplug before changing bulb, and use only a 3 to 7 watt night light bulb available at most grocery stores.
Keep out of sunlight, extreme moisture and heat.

The Beauty of an Alpine Luminary container is especially enhanced by a light source from within. There are several ways to accomplish this….

~A “Tea Light’ is a small candle is a metal cup and will cast a beautiful glow from the inside of your Alpine Luminary Vessel. Make sure the wick is centered inside your container
~To Float a candle in a round Alpine Luminary Vessel, fill halfway with water then insert a floating candle ALSO float other non flammable material  ( green leaves) to keep the candle centered (so it will not to float to the sides) as it burns in your container.
~To create the most even GLOW in a large bowl or cylinder, place a regular votive candle, (some burn 10 to 15 hours) into a clear glass votive candle holder designed for its size. (Hint – add a small amount of H20 first. This will ease future removal of wax!) Then place the small candle holder into the Bowl or Cylinder.
Make sure the wick burns in the center of both vessels!

To clear wax from Votives
~ Pour a small amount of HOT water from a Kettle into the votive enough to loosen the residual wax. Empty this water out and use a paper towel to dry the remaining wax from inside the bowl. Replace with a new tea light or candle.

Enjoy!
